Folding Travel Umbrella by Clongi Review

I always keep several spare umbrellas in my car and in the foyer for those days you get caught in the rain or it unexpectedly shows up. What I absolutely hate about traditional umbrellas is the time it takes to open and close them. I’ve reviewed one other auto open & close umbrella and after testing out the Clongi, Mr. Hubs can have the other one! This umbrella arrives in a box, which would make it ideal for gift giving. But, I really wouldn’t want to part with this.

The umbrella includes a cover to keep it stored in when not in use. The design is high-end with a leather handle and shinning hardware. On the leather handle is a button accented in silver that you press to open and close the umbrella with. After unsnapping the closure around the top I pressed this button and the umbrella immediately opened and extended, ready for use within a mere second. This was impressive! The umbrella itself is a nice size, large enough for two people to snuggle together and use at the same time. It provides excellent protection as well. When closed it easily stores in the door pocket of a vehicle or even a handbag.

Beanie Knit Hat by Cache Alaska Review

This is the second Beanie Hat that I have review for Cache Alaska. And just as the other, as soon as I opened this hat I was stoked. It’s basically the middle of May here in the Northeast, but the weather is very unseasonably cold. Mr. Hubs has to be on site long before most of us wake up and this light blue cap looks good on Mr. Hubs.

Of course when it comes to hat of this type, function is the objective. The craftsmanship of this beanie cap is outstanding. The knit and stitching are consistent throughout and it is super soft. The softness was a bit of a happy surprise due to the fact that this is a 50/50 wool acrylic blend – Mr. Hubs usually can’t deal with wool no matter the blend. There is also soft felt lining that adds to the comfort of this hat. It’s warm, stylish and has a great price point. Bonus … it’s machine washable!
