While I cannot personally speak to the insurance industry from the business side, I can absolutely talk about business in general. “Randi Glazer's 12 Strategies for Surviving a Career in the Insurance Industry” is an easy to read paperback that takes the reader through the strategies of business … any business. Glazer touches on the vital aspects of surviving the world of business.

The book does touch directly on the insurance industry, however even in that there is complete truths offered up by Glazer for the businessperson. With chapters like chapter 9 “Similarities Between Business and Marriage,” this book is a must read for anyone who is even thinking about becoming self-employed. Chapter 9 is only one example of the solid advice that this 42-page book has to offer. I would go as far as to say that “Randi Glazer's 12 Strategies for Surviving a Career in the Insurance Industry” is a must read for any businessperson and would be a great gift for the recent college grad!

As I’ve often shared with my readers, I sometimes feel as if I’ve been living under a rock. Yes, I well traveled. However there are many things that still fascinate me. The Atomic Radio Controlled Self Setting Digital Clock by Accuon would be one of them.

This clock is rather interesting, as it’s literally self-setting! All you have to do is place the two AA batteries (which are included) into the clock and it begins to search for a radio signal transmitted from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). I sincerely hope that you can see the quality of what Guided did for me. This company is top-notch … period. So, what does Guided do? Guided is a custom packaging company that offers up a plethora of packaging options for your business and retail needs.

I opted to check out Guided’s Custom Round Hang Tags, which cost approximately ¢26 each, but go down in price (as low as ¢13 each) the larger the order. I seriously wasn’t expecting too much, but I sent over my logo and within a few hours, they’d sent me a draft that was bangin’!

There’s freedom on their site too. You have the option to design the packaging for your needs and the support to get it right. Guided is a good deal for those with an Etsy store, actually Guided is a great deal for anyone with a business! As we go into the holiday season, many of us will be sending out gifts to customers.
