I am really bummed that I could not get the EnergyPal
antenna to work. I tried this on four different televisions throughout my home,
on all three levels of my home, and not one channel. We live in an area where
you do need cable or a satellite in order to receive television channel
broadcast.
However, we are less then 30
miles from the closest station. Based upon the specifications of this item,
there is absolutely no reason that I shouldn’t have been able to get a signal.
With that said, I did read a multitude of reviews from people stating that the
EnergyPal AN51 Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna picked up decent signals for those
living within a 10 mile radius of a TV broadcast station. Therefore, I don’t
believe that all hope is lost with this antenna. I think that it would be a
good alternative to paying for cable if you live within a certain range.
