Eco-friendly products with a purpose

The Pop Culture Trends Examiner is always on the lookout for interesting eco-friendly products to introduce to readers. And when those products serve multiple purposes it’s a win-win. So, imagine my delight when I heard that lifestyle brand A Lot To Say has teamed with Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) on a new line of eco-friendly pet products.

The new line of pet products is made from 100% post consumer plastic bottles, with just one tee saving more than 60 plastic bottles from going to landfill, and is printed using a no water dye process, protecting pets from harmful materials used in most traditional pet products. With everything from bandanas ($5.99) to toys ($8.99), doggie tees and leashes ($29.99), the line offers various ways to keep your pup looking great and you feeling good about purchasing eco-friendly products that help the environment and support SU2C.

Proceeds from the A Lot To Say pet line will go to SU2C’s mission to accelerate innovative cancer research. On June 1, Robin Williams decided to “book” his buddy Leonard as a spokespuppy for the cause. Robin posted Leonard’s debut modeling gig on Twitter and yeah, Leonard was working it! For more information about SU2C, hit the website and the A Lot To Say pet line can be found at the SU2C “pet shop”.
