Delicious Cocktail Recipes For Fall

Can we really say “Goodbye Summer, Hello Fall?” It’s odd where I live, as the weather can’t seem to make up its mind as to what it wants to be. It seems as if Summer 2017 is holding on for all it’s worth! Truth be told, as much as I absolutely adore summertime, I love the change of seasons and fall is one of my favorites.

Drambuie, Icelandic Reyka Vodka, Montelobos Mezcal, Ancho Reyes, Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, Hudson Whiskey, Monkey Shoulder Whisky and Q Drinks have some tasty cocktails for the upcoming crisp, cool day and I’ve scored them just for Pop Culture Shock readers!

Brewlevadier
  • 1 ½ parts Monkey Shoulder
  • 1 part Sweet Vermouth
  • ½ part Campari
  • ¼ part Grenadine syrup

Top up Cold Brew Coffee tonic (Buy cold brew bottle + premium tonic bottle)
Stir it and build in highball glass with block ice. Garnish with orange or grapefruit peel.

Beet Drop
  • ¾ part Drambuie
  • ¾ part Reyka Vodka
  • ½ Vanilla Flavored Cold Brew Coffee
  • 1 ½ parts Apple Juice
  • ½ part Lemon Juice
  • ¼ part Beet Juice
  • Top with Q Soda

Combine all ingredients together in a cocktail shaker except Soda. Shake/strain. Top with Soda and garnish with grated nutmeg and mint sprig.

Ancho Mule
  • 2 parts Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur
  • 6 parts Q Ginger Beer
  • ½ part lime juice

Build into a Collins glass and garnish with a lime wheel.

Hudson Maple Old Fashioned
  • 2 parts Hudson Maple Cask Rye
  • 1/2 teaspoon good-quality maple syrup
  • 2-3 dashes (to taste) aromatic bitters—pronounced notes of clove and cinnamon make the Fee Brothers Whiskey Barrel-Aged bitters a great choice.
  • Apple slice & cinnamon stick for garnish

Into an Old Fashioned/rocks glass, add maple syrup and bitters, then ice and Maple Cask Rye. Stir until well-chilled and garnish with a couple thin slices of freshly-sliced apple and a cinnamon stick.

Carajillo Oaxacqueno
  • 1 part Montelobos Mezcal
  • 1 part Drambuie
  • 1 espresso

Add ingredients into mixing glass, add ice, and shake. Pour into a rocks glass and add cinnamon stick.

Sailor Jerry Ginger Apple Punch – 1 serving
  • 1 ½ parts Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum
  • 2 parts sour mix
  • 1 part apple juice
  • 1 part ginger syrup
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon

Add ingredients into mixing glass, add ice, shake, strain over ice into a rocks glass and garnish with an apple slice and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon

All beverages can be made as Mocktails with simply replacements of non-alcoholic mixes!
