Russian Standard Vodka announces Amanda Curtis as the
winner of the inaugural ‘Incredible Pursuits’ competition. Amanda is the CEO
and Co-Founder of 19th Amendment, a fashion site poised to change the fashion
landscape by offering emerging talent an easy & innovative way to bring
their visions to life.
The nationwide search was designed to reward individuals
exemplifying an un-wavering desire to provide the highest level of excellence,
in their respective fields, no matter what the challenges or the costs may be.
Enterprising talent entered the contest with the hope of furthering their
business endeavors via prizes including a $10,000 financial reward and personal
mentoring sessions with industry leaders.
The winner will also be featured in regional magazines and will be
celebrated at an exclusive party in Miami on Dec. 11.
19th Amendment, is a fashion site with an interactive
crowdfunding portfolio tool for designers to showcase, receive feedback on, and
sell their designs directly to consumers. Prior to starting 19th Amendment,
Curtis worked as a designer for many notable fashion houses and as a celebrity
stylist. Curtis’ true passion, however,
is advancing the fashion industry as a whole, by injecting it with
technological innovation. It is her
dedication to fulfilling this dream that will turn countless hopefuls into
working fashion designers. Russian
Standard Vodka is helping Curtis reach her goal of launching the careers of 730
designers and increasing U.S. fashion manufacturing in the next year.
The top five finalists of the Incredible Pursuitscompetition also include: Melissa Pam Rodriguez, a swimwear designer from
Miami, Florida; Thuan Ho, a California based videogame developer, Arber Ruci
from New York, who developed a global campus communication platform, and Angela
Giovine from Philadelphia who launched a highly localized digital media
group.
